Are you having trouble with your timing? Chances are it’s not your timing that you are having problems with. More likely than not it will be your preparation.

Most people have good timing, in fact, we learn timing in life quite early. It’s the preparation that’s the hidden bug. Are you ready to attack when you spot the moment to go? Do you seem to get hit unexpectedly or try your defensive action too late? If you you are probably not prepared.

Shadowboxing in the front of a full sized mirror is one of the best ways to see if you are prepared or not. Your visual feedback is what will tell you. Your hands might be too low. Your knees might not be bent enough. There are all sorts of ways you can be unprepared.

Try it out. It worked great for me!
